About
A Toronto research company building structural AI alignment
Zerava Technologies Inc. (ZeravaTech) is a Canadian company based in Toronto. The research program behind PSE spans several years of published work; the company exists to bring it into production, locally and auditably.
Where PSE comes from
Partial Self-Extension
A child is a partial extension of its mother. It comes from her and carries part of her, and it becomes a self of its own.
That thought is where Partial Self-Extension begins: a system that stays partly an extension of the people it serves, with its attention held between itself, the other person and the wider context by the Care Invariant.
In August 2025, at the Ai4 conference in Las Vegas, Geoffrey Hinton argued that the only case we know of a more intelligent being controlled by a less intelligent one is a baby and its mother, and that AI should be built to care for people the way a mother cares for her child (Fortune, 14 August 2025). PSE starts from the same relation, seen from the side of the child.
Founders
Who is behind this
Andrej Ristić
Author of the PSE theoretical framework and the Care Invariant. The research program behind PSE spans several years of published work.
Dhiraj Sah
Leads the commercial implementation of PSE — the MatriX kernel, deployment tooling and benchmarking. Selected for Radical Ventures’ 2026 AI Founders Masterclass.
How we work
Open theory. Licensed implementation.
We publish the theoretical framework in full and timestamp it, so anyone can verify our claims. The commercial implementation — the MatriX kernel, benchmark methodology and deployment tooling — is licensed to partners under NDA. Deployments run on customer hardware; nothing is sent to us.
